Review: Meat District Co

Whilst I was in Sydney, George and I went for a meal at the Meat District Co restaurant in Darling Harbour.

Firstly, the harbour area is well worth a visit. It has beautiful boats moored up and lots of nice restaurants that allow you to sit outside and watch the world go by. On Saturday nights there is a free fireworks display at 9pm as well.

We timed our visit so we could have our meal and then grab some gelato before sitting on the harbour steps to watch the show.

The name of the restaurant is a little give away, it sells meat and lots of it. The meat on offer ranges from burgers to full racks of ribs.

I would say the prices are reasonable, I think our bill came to $50 for a main course and two drinks.

George had the cheeseburger that looked delicious, coming from someone who doesn’t usually like burgers. It was filled with bacon, onions and cheese!

I had a hot dog which was packed with lots of flavour and accompanied with caramelised onion, guacamole, cheese and a side of fries.

The service was prompt and friendly and I would definitely go back!
