Botanical Gardens, Sydney

I enjoyed a lovely stroll through the botanicals gardens in Sydney the other day. It was my day away from the camper ‘crew’ so it was very peaceful.

The gardens are filled with all sorts of plants, herbs and even a variety of different grass grown in different parts of the world.

I saw some impressive cactuses on my journey and enjoyed beautiful views of the opera house and harbour bridge.

The aim of my walk was to go and see Mrs Macquaries Chair at Mrs Macquaries Point and unsurprisingly you could sit on it.

The chair was built in 1810 for Governor Macquaries wife, Elizabeth because she wanted a chair to sit on in order to sit and view the harbour.
