Following the adventures of Fraser Island, I felt a couple of nights stay in an Airbnb justifiable, as well as a premature Valentine’s Day treat.
We booked three nights in Elizabeth’s $2 million home designed by Chris Clout. It was beautiful.
It had been designed in such a way to allow the indoors and outdoors to blend together using bi-fold doors. The place had a tropical theme with palm trees and hammocks dotted around the place.
We liked the place so much we barely left this tranquil property. We cooked lovely meals and relaxed. I therefore can’t tell you much about Noosa itself but the beach and Noosa Junction looked lovely.
In the evening, the night before Valentine’s Day, George and I went for a meal at Ricky’s Restaurant & Bar to celebrate. An up-market restaurant on the river. Bookings are essential.
We were seated outside overlooking the river. The food was delicious, we went all out having a snack, main and dessert.
Beautiful food and setting.
We liked the place so much we ended up enquiring about jobs for when we finish our east coast travels.
