The Weekly Challenge: Ornate

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Ornate.”

As a birthday surprise my boyfriend, who is currently living on the other side of the world to me, organised theatre tickets for my birthday.

This is the stage set of Matilda The Musical.

I thought this fit perfectly with the theme as the set looked very intricate, with hundreds of lettered boxes springing from the ceiling.

I always think the way people design stage sets is wonderful.
